Meet The Staff
Miss Sarah Prudhomme- Owner/Director
Having had a passion for working with children since I was young, it wasn't until I finished University and took time off in 2007 to travel to teach at a preschool in Tanzania, Africa, that my passion for teaching ensued. Having a background in Social Work and early childhood development, it lead me to own and operate my own home based childcare business for several years before having the opportunity to take over Kids Quest. When I'm not planning curriculum or building elaborate classroom centers at the preschool, I enjoy being outdoors hiking, biking, and snowboarding with my friends and family. My favorite part of being a preschool teacher/director is having the ability to see the world through a child's eyes. Their eagerness, enthusiasm, and desire to learn and succeed, puts a smile on my face each and every day!
Mrs Todd- Office Manager
My name is Candis Todd and I am so excited to be a part of Kids Quest Preschool as their administrator. I have been a staff member since June 2018. I have been working with children since the age of 14 when I started as a junior Scout leader with Scouts Canada. From a very young age I knew I loved working with children helping them learn all they can and grow to be all they can be. I am a mom of 2 amazing girls and a dedicated wife. My 2 girls attended Kids Quest and that is where my love for the school grew and couldn’t wait to be a part of their amazing team.
I have been employed at Kids Quest for 7 years. What I like the most about teaching preschool is watching the children learn to share and watch them develop some of their very first friendships. I grew up on a farm near Oyen, Alberta. After graduating high school I moved to Lethbridge where I attended college to study Disability Studies. I moved to Airdrie where I eventually met my husband of 12 years! We now have 3 amazing children. In my spare time I enjoy camping, cooking and playing with my kids.
My name is Tina Andreasen and I’m starting my 10th year at Kids Quest. I’ve supported the philosophy and teachings of Kids Quest since my youngest son was enrolled in the 4 year old program. I’m humbled and grateful to now be teaching at this wonderful pre-school. I’m married to my best friend and together we have two sons. I enjoy morning and evening walks, gardening, puzzles, music, Saturday morning at the Farmer’s Market, but most of all being a Wife, Mother and Teacher. Some of my favorite things are the colour red, pizza, Ikea, Mercedes-Benz and the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. *Fun Fact* I watch the Scripps National Spelling Bee every year! “Can you use that word in a sentence please?”
My name is Angie Marsales. I have worked at Kids Quest as a Teachers’ Assistant for 9 years. I fell in love with the program at Kids Quest when my daughter attended 12 years ago. My hobbies and interests include, sustainable organic gardening, art, photography, scrambling in our majestic Rockies with family and friends, (or travelling to other amazing places to hike), and playing ‘Scrabble’. Past students from KQ may say my favorite thing of all is RAINBOWS! I live on an acreage in Rockyview County with my husband, daughter and our many animal friends.
